WHAT A WEEKEND!!! we had such a good time … i just wish we could have stayed longer than one night!! … we travelled up on the saturday leaving early in the morning after filling two cars up with alcohol and snacks for the adventure ahead 😀 there were 11 of us which was amazing and really made the weekend more special – they had also got hold of another guy to help teach us but because we were soooooo good … he got out the camera and got so many photos for us!!!
After a 6 hour drive up there we arrived and got straight in the the surfing. We had a two hour lesson where we all really threw ourselves into it and all came out wanting to fall straight into bed 🙂 … It happened to be Arianna’s birthday though so we worked up the energy to make it a night to remember!! An old karaoke machine was dug up after enough alcohol was consumed and we spent the rest of the night singing badly at each other 😀
At midnight we walked down to the beach with the idea of a midnight swim – but as it turned out to be freaking cold we left Arianna to walk in on her own haha
After sleeping like the dead – we got up at 9 for some breakfast before jumping back into the sea for our second lesson … i like to think we made some progress with all of us sort of, kinda, nearly standing up on the board!!! YAY
It was such a good weekend and we were so lucky with the weather … wish i could go back soon!!! .. OH YEAH i am on FRIDAYYYYYY!!! 😀 hehe – would love to go back surfing though it was amazing!
